    Enjoy our onsen, Hakuba Happo Onsen, one of Japan’s finest hot springs for healthy skin! Relax in our dry sauna or refresh yourself in our cold bath, filled with underground drinkable water. (Click here for more information)

    Please bring towels from your room.

    Morning Sauna:
    The morning sauna is available from 6 am - 10 am by reservation only. A fee of ¥1,100 per person applies. To reserve, please inform the front desk staff by the end of office hours the day before.

    • Breakfast is available for all hotel guests without a reservation.
    • If you wish to book a dinner table, please book online (click here), inform the Front Desk, or speak to the Restaurant reception. Walk-ins without a reservation are always welcome!
    • Bar tables are available for walk-ins only and cannot be reserved.
    • Coffee & Bar Lounge: Feel free to relax and enjoy the lounge from 9 am to 9 pm! Please note that no drink service is available from 9 am to 2 pm. During drink service hours, we kindly ask that you refrain from bringing outside food and beverages.


    GREEN SEASON OPEN HOURS
    (from April to November)

    Breakfast 7 pm - 9 pm
    Dinner 6 pm - 8 pm (enter by 7 pm)

    • The restaurant is open for hotel guests only during the green season. Dinner is not included in the hotel price. Please book a table at the Front Desk if you wish to have dinner at our restaurant.
    • Coffee & bar lounge is closed during the green season.

  • Amenity Station

    Amenities are provided both in guest rooms and at a common Amenity Station located on the 1st floor. You are welcome to wear yukata and slippers throughout the hotel, including the restaurant!

    In Your Room:
    Bath and face towels, slippers, electric kettle, coffee cups, glasses, paper cups, hangers, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand and face soap, and a hairdryer. For more details about your room, please click here.

    At the Amenity Station:
    Yukata (Japanese robe), toothbrush and toothpaste, hairbrush, razor, cotton swabs, coffee cups, glasses, tea bags, wine openers, extra hangers, extra toilet paper, and tissues.

    At the Onsen:
    Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand and face soap, hairdryers, hairbrushes, razors, and cotton swabs.

  • Water Bar

    Open hours: 3 pm - 8:30 pm

    Choose from 5 types of water available on the counter. All tap water in the hotel, including the water in guest rooms, is safe to drink. It’s our underground spring water!

  • Coin-operated Massage Chairs

    200 yen per session (10 minutes per session)

  • Ski & Snowboard Lockers

    Please use the locker that corresponds to your room number. Keep the key with you at all times.

    SKI BOOTS ALLOWED AREAS:
    Ski boots are permitted only in the main entrance, basement entrance, and basement floor. Please remove your ski boots inside the elevator and on the 1st floor or above.

    Drying: 200 yen
    Detergent is available near the machines.

  • Drying Room

    This room is for temporarily drying wet gear only.

  • Rental Return

    Some rental shops allow you to leave rented items at the hotel (in this space). Please confirm the return procedure with the shop when renting gear.

Additional Services & Information

  • Ice Cubes
    We do not have ice machines in the hotel. If you would like ice in your room, please contact the Front Desk or Restaurant & Bar.
  • Luggage Shipping（Yamato Transport）
    If you wish to send your luggage home, to your next destination, or to the airport, please fill out a shipping label and bring your luggage to the Front Desk. Prepaid and postpaid labels are available at the Front Desk.
  • Vending Machines
    Vending machines are located on the 1st and basement floors of the hotel. The machine on B1F offers alcoholic beverages.
  • Information Board
    Our information board, located next to the Front Desk, provides details on Hakuba tourism, public shuttle bus routes and timetables, weekly weather updates, and other helpful information. Please feel free to take any pamphlets with you!
  • Free WiFi
    Free WiFi is available throughout the hotel. The ID and password are listed on the Welcome Guide provided at check-in.

Things to Note

  • Non-Smoking Policy
    Smoking is strictly prohibited inside Hotel Goryukan, including guest rooms. A designated smoking area is available outside, next to the main entrance. If you smoke indoors, a cleaning fee of ¥20,000 will be charged.
  • Housekeeping
    For stays of two nights, amenities for two nights will be set up in your room, and housekeeping will not be provided.

    For stays of three nights or longer, housekeeping is provided every third day during 10 am - 4 pm.

    Please inform the front desk if you have any specific housekeeping requests.
  • Free Parking Lot
    Our outdoor parking lot on the premises is available for free and does not require a reservation. Feel free to park anywhere inside the white lines or neatly alongside another vehicle. Please manage your car and keys on your own during your stay.

    However, we may ask you to move your vehicle depending on the parking location, especially during winter due to potential hazards like falling snow. As a result, we will inquire about your vehicle type and the last four digits of your license plate number during check-in. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
  • Night Entrance (9 pm - 7 am)
    The automatic main entrance will be closed at 9 pm. If you are going outside after 9 pm, please use the night entrance (the side door of the main entrance). The door can be unlocked by entering the code. Before going out, PLEASE NOTE THE CODE in the Welcome Guide we gave you at check-in!
  • Backside Door (Slope side/ B1F entrance)
    Open: 7 am - 6 pm (winter only)
    The door in the ski & snowboard locker room is open for easier access with your snow gear. After 6 pm, the door will be locked. Please use the main entrance instead.
  • Key Replacement
    Please return all room and locker keys to the front desk at check-out. In case of a lost key, a replacement fee of ¥2,000 per key will be charged.
