2025-2026 Winter Season Information at Hotel Goryukan

INFORMATION

LIFT TICKETS

Winter lift tickets for ski resorts in Hakuba Valley use rechargeable IC cards, which allow guests to access the slopes directly without stopping at ticket counters.

Hotel Goryukan guests can purchase IC cards at the front desk and access exclusive discounted rates for Hakuba Happo-One Snow Resort. Discounted tickets are available through a special QR code provided onsite.

Front desk hours: 7:00 – 10:00 AM / 2:00 – 9:00 PM

How to Purchase Lift Tickets:

  1. Get an IC Card: IC cards are available at the front desk for ¥100 each. If you already have one, move on to the next step.
  2. Scan the QR Code: Use the QR code available at the hotel to access the discounted ticket shop for the Hakuba Happo-One Snow Resort.
  3. Buy Your Ticket Online: Choose your ticket type, enter your IC card’s serial number, and complete your purchase.
  4. Go Straight to the Slopes: Take your IC card directly to the lift gate — no need to stop at a ticket counter.

Notes:

  • The discounted rates offered through the hotel QR code are valid only for Hakuba Happo-One Snow Resort.
  • Hakuba Happo-One lift tickets are activated only on the days you scan your IC card at the lift gate. For example, a 1-day pass becomes valid once you pass through the lift gate. If you don’t use it that day, it remains unused and can still be used later in the same season. Multi-day passes also do not need to be used on consecutive days, as long as they’re used within the same season.
  • IC cards can also be used at other ski resorts within the Hakuba Valley. If you plan to ski at a different resort, please follow that resort’s official website for instructions on purchasing lift tickets.
  • The Hakuba Valley Day Pass can also be linked to IC cards. However, to ensure access to the free Hakuba Valley Shuttle Bus, we recommend purchasing your pass — including the IC card — directly through the official Hakuba Valley website or at any resort ticket window.
  • Hakuba Valley Day Pass becomes valid from the first day of use and remains active through its designated validity period. Even if you only use the Hakuba Valley Shuttle Bus, that day will count as one day of use. Please check the validity dates carefully when purchasing or using this pass.

SHUTTLE BUS TO SKI RESORTS

During the winter season, various shuttle bus routes operate throughout the Hakuba Valley. The information below outlines how to reach major ski resorts from the nearest shuttle stops to Hotel Goryukan. As the hotel does not provide transportation to ski resorts, we recommend using these public shuttle services.

The nearest shuttle stops to Hotel Goryukan are marked on our Google Map.

Please Notes:

  • Shuttle buses usually begin operating around 8:00 AM. If you need to travel earlier—for a ski lesson, tour, or early start—we recommend confirming pick-up with your provider or arranging alternative transport in advance, as taxis can be hard to book during peak times.
  • The shuttle lines and bus stops listed below are based on the 2024–2025 winter season information. Updates will be made on this page once the latest details are confirmed. While minor adjustments may occur, the overall shuttle line system is expected to remain the same.
