Lift Tickets


Hotel Goryukan guests can enjoy exclusive discounts on lift tickets for Hakuba Happo-One Snow Resort. IC cards are required for purchasing and using ski lift tickets.

How to Purchase:

  1. Purchase an IC Card: If you don’t already have one, IC cards are available at the front desk for ¥100 each.
  2. Scan the QR Code: Use the QR code provided at the hotel to access the online ticket shop for Hakuba Happo-One Snow Resort.
  3. Complete Your Online Purchase: Select your preferred ticket type, enter your IC card’s serial number, and follow the steps to complete the payment process online.
  4. Enjoy the Slopes: Take your IC card to the lift gate, and you’re ready to start your adventure!


Important Notes:

  • The front desk is open from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM. If you plan to head directly to the slopes before check-in, we recommend purchasing tickets from the resort’s website or ticket windows.
  • The discounted rates provided by the hotel apply exclusively to Hakuba Happo-One Snow Resort.
  • IC cards can also be used for purchasing tickets at other ski resorts in Hakuba, including the Hakuba Valley Pass. For these purchases, please follow the respective resort’s official instructions.
  • If you plan to purchase a Hakuba Valley Pass, we recommend doing so through the official website to ensure full access to free Hakuba Valley Shuttle Bus services.

Shuttle Bus to Ski Resorts

Please note that the hotel does not provide private shuttle services. We recommend using public shuttle buses for access to the ski resorts.

The following shuttle bus information is based on the Hakuba Valley Shuttle Bus timetable and routes, as outlined in their official guide. Please refer to this document for the most up-to-date details.

HAKUBA HAPPO-ONE SNOW RESORT (the nearest ski resort to Hotel Goryukan):

Nakiyama 3 (Chair Lift)

  • 7-minute walk from Hotel Goryukan
  • Free Shuttle Bus (LINE-H): [H1] boarding at [#3 Parking] and getting off at [Nakiyama Slope]

Happo Gondola "Adam"

  • 11-minute walk from Hotel Goryukan
  • Free Shuttle Bus (LINE-H): [H1] boarding at [#3 Parking] or [Nakiyama Snowland]

Kokusai Slope (Evergreen Base)

  • 5-minute drive from Hotel Goryukan

Sakka Slope

  • 7-minute drive from Hotel Goryukan

Rental Shops

There are several rental shops in the area to suit various needs. The closest shop to us is Rhythm Happo, which is only a 4-minute walk (you can book directly with Rhythm here). Other options include Woody’s, Central Snow Sports, and Spicy. You can find more information about rentals here 
or check their respective websites.

Additionally, most rental companies allow guests to return their rental gear at our hotel. We have a dedicated “Rental Return” shelf in our basement for this purpose. However, we recommend confirming this with the company you rent from and letting them know that you plan to leave your gear with us.

Ski & Snowboard Lessons

Please register directly with the ski or snowboard schools. You can find more information and book lessons through the Hakuba Happo-One Snow Resort Ski & Snowboard Schools, the closest mountain to our hotel!

Uber Service in Hakuba (December - March)

Uber is available in the Hakuba area during the 2024-2025 winter season (December to March), offering a convenient transportation option for reaching ski resorts, restaurants, or other destinations when shuttle buses or taxis are unavailable.
